Up to 600 professionals from across the UK will enjoy a fantastic lunch and afternoon tea while cheering on the action. We are honoured to have special guest speaker Ben Youngs in his final year of professional rugby, together with his England and Leicester Tigers teammate, Dan Cole.
For us, it is all about local organisations coming together to enjoy each other’s company, watch some entertaining sport and showcase what Shropshire offers. While having fun, we can support some excellent causes and ensure they benefit from your generosity. You support SYST, United World Schools, Rugby Against Cancer, Newport Cottage Hospital and Newport Rugby Club.

Back for our second year at Newport Rugby Club after a great first year! We chose this club because it strikes the perfect balance of support and challenge for competitive young players — a spirit that reflects our roots. Many of us grew up on this pitch, made lifelong friends, and learned lessons that shaped us. Now, we’re proud to give back to a club that gave us so much.
Rub shoulders with the West Midlands’ finest. Guests are encouraged to dress with a sense of occasion—refined yet comfortable, stylish yet effortless. Whether it’s a sharp suit or a statement dress, you’ll want to look and feel your best from kick-off to final whistle.
The day starts with a glass of fizz from 10:30 am, allowing everyone to settle in, catch up, and prepare for what’s ahead.
The tournament will start at 11 am. Lunch will be served at 12:30 pm with afternoon tea at 4:30 pm.
With short, fast-paced matches and a full schedule running through to the final at 6 p.m., we are pleased to support Women’s Rugby with an exhibition match at 6:30 p.m.
Alongside the rugby, guests can take part in the charity auction, with prizes ranging from VIP matchday experiences and luxury weekends away to signed shirts.
